[Intello] (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates the Intello web app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
What we collect and why
We collect account information such as your email and, if provided, your name to create and secure your account. We process subscriptions and payments through Stripe; Stripe stores your payment method details, and we store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers along with billing status. When you connect portfolio data, we process the positions, transactions, and balances you choose to import so we can display them to you. We also collect usage and technical data - such as page views, device and browser details, and IP addresses - to operate, secure, and improve the service and prevent abuse. If you contact support, we keep the messages you send us. We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their advertising purposes.
How we use and share information
We use your data to provide and secure the service, authenticate sessions, prevent fraud and abuse, deliver and improve features, process payments, and communicate with you about service updates, billing, and support. We share data only with service providers under contract who need it to help us operate the app - such as hosting, analytics/security tooling, and Stripe for payments - and with authorities when required by law or to protect rights and prevent fraud or abuse. In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer under the same privacy commitments.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support essential functionality. Some analytics or measurement tools may set cookies to help us understand usage and improve performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but blocking essential cookies may affect how the service works.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. After account closure, we may keep limited information to comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege permissions for our services and staff. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase; passwords are never stored in plaintext, and Firebase-managed credentials follow Google’s security standards. Sensitive keys and service credentials (e.g., Stripe, Firebase) are stored in server-side configuration and are not exposed in client code. We monitor for abuse and suspicious activity to help prevent fraud.
Your choices
You can access and update your account information in the app and can delete your account, which removes your portfolio data and cancels active subscriptions. You can opt out of non-essential communications via unsubscribe links or by contacting us.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
